The bush will reseed itself readily, and you can propagate it through cuttings. It requires minimal water to survive. The bush will flower in Winter and Spring in colors including yellow, purple, and brown.  It is host to three moths and butterflies, the Fatal Metalmark, Dwarf Tawny Wave, and Orange Tortrix moth.
